Durgam Cheruvu(which was supposed to have supplied water for the Golconda fort in the past ) is situated close to Shilparamam Crafts Village and Hitech City, behind Jubilee Hills. AP Tourism organizes boating in this lake.
The Durgam Cheruvu lake is spread over an area of 63 acres and is surrounded by hills of the Deccan Plateau.
The lake is also available for film shooting Rs.75000.00 per day. Boats can also be hired for film shootings at Rs. 2500.00 per day for 4 seater pedal boat and Rs.3000.00 per day for water scooter.
